My dad was the one to introduce me to Pokémon. I think it was 2017 or 2018. My very first game was Pokémon Go, but I was shit at it, I only wanted to catch Eevees. I was real asf for that tbh. My first mainline game was Let's Go Pikachu (my sibling bought it, I got Let's Go Eevee a year later). My obsession came back in december 2025 when I was cleaning my house before Christmas Eve and found my sibling's Switch after 1 year of not seeing it 😭 Since then I've played and finished Scarlet and Legends Arceus, and I'm currently playing White (started in may but I'm BUSY OK)

Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu
Sr Rayo the Pikachu, Ari the Pidgeot, Darien the Venusaur, Azul the Blastoise, Fuego the Charizard, Kyo the Flareon.
My first ever Pokémon team! I feel like everyone had a team like this in the Let's Go games (ie; with the partner pokémon and the 3 starters). Idk why but I'm actually not that attached to this team beyond Sr. Rayo. I like them all but Sr. Rayo is my favorite by far. I don't remember much of this playthrough but looking at the level curves he probably carried the team too.
Pokémon Sword
Hestia the Cinderace, Atenea the Corviknight, Paquito the Boltund, Iris the Sylveon, Poseidon the Vaporeon, Wolfy the Zacian.
This is the team I'm most attached to. Although it's not the oldest, I played Sword for sooo much longer than any other game. This is not the game I beat the league with, though. iirc it was Hestia, Atenea, Paquito + a Roserade, a Ninetales, and idk who was the 5th pokémon. Still, I am much more attached to this version of the team. Fun fact, apparently I was a woke child who didn't gaf about gender because even though Hestia, Atenea, and Iris are male, I gave them the names of Goddesses.
Pokémon Scarlet
Fetuchini the Meowscarada, Magnus the Corviknight, Paco the Dachsbun, Grover the Umbreon, Percy the Vaporeon, Tiburoncin the Garchomp.
Scarlet is my most recent finished Pokémon game, and this is my most recent fully fleshed out team. I beat the Elite 4 with this team and even throughout the playthrough it barely changed. I think the only big change was swapping out my Lycanroc Bigo for Tiburoncin. And even though I do like this team and am attached to its members, I'm not a fan of the teambuilding. I used Corviknight and Vaporeon in the game right before this one like????, and the vast majority of the team are not Paldea Pokémon...mhmm not a fan. Regardless, love these guys.
Pokémon Legends: Arceus
Shelly the Samurott, Allan the Typhlosion, August the Decidueye, Gigi the Gengar, Baby the Sylveon, Luke the Lucario.
Probably the least stable team out of all of these -- the only Pokémon that stayed from start to finish is Shelly, I think? And that's because she's my starter and I would never abandon her. I changed it multiple times when I was trying to beat Volo, I took Gigi in favor of a Gardevoir (named Femboy, who CARRIED ME I love him) and Allan is here because I switched him with a Luxray iirc??? Regardless I really like this team. I'm not very attached to Gigi and August because they're the most recent additions, though.
